MYTH'S ABOUT LAST MINUTE CRUISE BOOKINGS
3/4/20103:24:46 PM Link | | Add comment
I am frequently asked if booking a cruise at the last minute would be a better deal or cheaper.
The answer is absolutely NOT. Cruising these days is more popular than ever. The ships fill up and the cruise lines do not have to discount them at the last minute. Not to mention all the best cabins are booked early.
Cruise lines offer the best deals to book early.
Carnival has told me that they will have 5 ships sailing out of various ports in the state of Texas within the next 5 years. That tells me that the cruises out of Galveston are staying full.

As most of you have heard by now TSA has implemented new security procedures at all US airports due to the recent incident involving an attempted terrorist attack onboard a Delta flight last week.As I have said before security procedures change constantly and it is difficult even for those of us in the industry to keep up with them.
If you have a flight in the near future I encourage you to check the latest up to date information on security measures at www.travel.state.gov or call your travel agent.

LARGEST CRUISE SHIP IN THE WORLD!

I just returned from Ft. Lauderdale where I took part in some of the Inaugural events held onboard the newest and largest cruise ship in the world.
The Oasis of the Seas is Royal Caribbean's newst, largest and most technologically advanced cruise ship ever built. I must say I was truly impressed!
The ship has a surf simulator onboard where you can atually learn to surf in fast moving waves. That is if you are brave enough, which I am NOT! It also has a rock climbing wall, zip line, miniature golf, theater, handcrafted working carousel, basketball and tennis courts, not to mention the 10 plus restaurants, bars and more!
I could go on and on but you get the point. To see more of what this amazing ship has to offer go to www.oasisoftheseas.com.
